I don't see that the MoCA adapter substitutes its own MAC address - if I connect a laptop via that same adapter, the computer's NIC shows up just fine in the DHCP lease table.The Orbi setup is in bridge mode (I have an OpenWRT router).The other route is using Verizons supplied router, which has a MoCA bridge embedded in the device. You can find out what Verizons specifics settings are and purchase a standalone MoCA bridge. These devices come in two flavors typically. It syncs up okay wirelessly - with no kind of Ethernet backhaul connection at all. You can accomplish this by using a MoCA bridge.Everything is fine with a regular (non-MoCA) Ethernet backhaul connection.The satellite shows up in the router's webUI firmware update page with a permanent "waiting for connection" status.But it will not synch properly to the router - and no client devices will connect via the satellite.Sometimes a signal is not stable or not available at all in some corners of the building.
